KIWI2

Eyeland Style production's first ever tour was of  Manuel Matisi (pic above) a.k.a Manuel Bundy a.k.a Manny Styles New Zealand DJ Icon in the early 90's. Through touring Manuel Bundy through out the 90's I was then thrusted into New Zealand's first Hip Hop Book as the guy Dj Severe named Leo Tanoi their contact with Australia's leading Hip Hop underground touring group the mighty promoter Trent Roden of Slingshots Touring Sydney Australia. Through Manuel Bundy I was able to partner with Slingshot Touring to deliver the International Turntable Federation Australasia. Trent was the brains behind this early Hip Hop venture touring turntablist legend of the New York City Executioners Dj Rock Raida. I added with Trents full support New Zealand to the competition making myself and the joint New Zealand International Turntablist Federation President with Phil Bell a.k.a Dj Severe. My role was to oversee with Phil the competition in New Zealand in Wellington, and then in Auckland. Roc Raida Toured to the The finals in New Zealand as the Judge in Auckland.  Dj Raw (Wellington)  first place, Dj Sean (Wellington) second place, and Dj P Money (Auckland ) third place. Dj Raw and Dj Sean stayed at my place in Bondi Beach and from there they practiced for the Australasian final. Dj Raw won the Australian finals at the Metro, and went on to the Innaugral International Turntablish Federation finals in America and came 3rd in the world.

Since then in the 90's Leo has always maintained a healthy touring appetite and also is involved in supporting of New Zealand acts, and this will continue into the future. Pic Below South Auckland giants Siavani from Groovehouse and Cydel, and Giant Killa of Groovehouse.
